Jaeme and her ecstatic husband Klayton have been a wonderful part of our lives for about two years. Hailing from the Athens area, she raises two kids, and lives the reclusive life of Baba Yaga on a winding trail of a road that is one side river overlook and one side deep daunting woods. Though, it is entirely possible the house moves when we’re not looking.

Along with many cats –husband included– teas, gardens, and remedies, she stays a proactive and skilled artist. I commissioned her for a price, but her kind nature decided it an appropriate Christmas gift. She illustrated traditionally and colored digitally, granting us with one of the most stunning variant covers so far. Greetings my most gracious loyalist,

I bring good(?) tidings! The ghost hunt video is officially out and there’s a little more to it in the post production than what was found on site. As I mentioned a few weeks prior, I went on a my first paranormal investigation with the Greater Huntsville Paranormal Research. Scott, the lead investigator and producer, has just released the video and you can check it out now.

It had been said that there was a strong presence, that people had felt strong physical and sometimes violent contact. Things like pushing, scratching, and tugging. They also said there were fully formed apparitions of people, orbs (?), and a lot of sounds. I was so excited to see if these things would manifest. But, I am going to be 100% honest. The actual investigation did not do much in lieu of what we were told. None of us felt disturbed or chilled, we did not see anything out of the norm, and we were not touched in any way.

However, some interesting things happened in our Estes sessions and Scott plucked some EVPs from the footage. These kind of things tend to be far more subjective, but they prove very interesting none the less. An Estes session is where we sort of go into a soft meditation, put on a blindfold, and then sink into a trance with noise cancelling headphones that are rapidly flipping through radio stations and signals. What this seems to emulate is a form of sensory deprivation with the signals offering an avenue of communication for anything that will use it. Those outside of this set-up but in proximity will ask questions, and see if there is a response through the signals. I can testify that you cannot hear anything outside of those headphones, so this creates a double blind situation. One person asks the questions and another may receive and answer and say what they hear outloud. An EVP is a Electronic Voice Phenomenon, which is exactly what it sounds like. These voices are not something we hear on site, but the equipment might.

Our Estes sessions seemed somewhat successful, and EVP’s were clear as day in the footage. So I highly recommend checking out the video and subscribing to my friend Scott! You may see me in more episodes to come.

Greetings gracious and great loyalist,

I have undergone a lot of schooling in my recent past, and part of the schooling was a photography class. It was so much fun and I learned a lot from it! It’s amazing how much a single class can level you up. Anyways, I have been contemplating adding another rung of works to the business. So I went out on a limb and took some photos. I got cut off by the sun going down in our living room and the camera battery being annoying, but I got some good shots! (I think) Let me know what you think!
